Abstract

The study aimed to identify the need to empower educational leaders in Jordan in light of the digital age. A descriptive survey method was used, and a questionnaire was developed as a tool for the study, distributed to a sample of 351 individuals selected using a simple random sampling technique. The study's results indicated a high degree of need to empower educational leaders in the digital age. The first area, "providing necessary training for many leaders to make sound decisions when facing multiple digital communication options," showed a high level of importance. The second area, "ensuring leadership rights to privacy and freedom of expression," was rated as moderate. The study recommended the continuation of training and professional development programs for educational leaders, and emphasized the need to reinforce a culture of selecting appropriate technology for educational institutions.
